The owners were very helpful,nothing too much trouble,the standard was very high,fabulous room, newly re-furbished, quality furnishings and very high standards of cleanliness, Bathroom superb also attention to toiletries available in bathroom was very much admired and appreciated, beautiful/tasteful bedding also very comfortable beds. yes could not fault, even gave lifts to and from nearby pub.
all reviews » Missed flight out of stansted so was feeling pretty fed up. The Willows Guest house was just perfect. Approx 6 mins away, pick up from airport, which was just to good to be true, Twin room is compact but has everything one needs for overnight stay, bed really comfy,location beautiful, rual countryside, thatched roof to main house, I would most definately recommend and definatley stay again.The hosts were the most amazing, helpful and generous people I have ever encountered! The room was spotless, fresh and well-appointed. There were many "extras" in the room, which were very helpful and considerate to a traveler. Great experience, fantastic/quiet location and absolutely wonderful hosts. I would recommend The Willows to anyone. everything about this guest house is great from the free pickup from the airport to how comforable and clean the room is to making sure your taxi picks you up on time for your flight it makes those early morning flights more bearable and less stressful its the second time iv stayed here and it wont be the last it would my first choice everytime.This is a great place! Kevin and Su are super people. They were very helpful with picking us up from Stansted Airport 1.5 hrs early, driving us to get dinner and taking us to the Airport super early in the morning. The room was super comfy, private and spacious. Only 2 miles from the Airport but very little noise. Lovely setting, tasteful decor, attention to detail (ironing board, iron, proper hairdryer, etc, all supplied). Loved the breakfast brought to my room! Free transfer to airport greatly appreciated too. Kevin was a very pleasant and friendly host.Kevin and Sue were perfect hosts!, even to the point of offering to act as a 'taxi' to take us out to dinner (which again they recommended and booked for us!) and collecting us at the end of the evening. Absolutely First Class!. The personal hospitality of the staff was most enjoyable. Friendly folks! Transporting us to a local pub for late dinner was much appreciated. A homy, historic, and welcoming place to stay. No wonder we avoid chain hotels.Kevin and Su are very friendly and professional. The room is very clean with the X factor. A very quietlocation - remarkable given the close proximity to the Airport. for a woman travelling on her own it was great. it was clean and comfortable. Just the fact that we have spent there only one night.There were no bad points about this accomodation. Kevin and Sue were definitely the perfect hosts. Floor especially in bathroom was a bit cold!. a wet night, the parking was a bit muddy and more outside lighting would have helped. No hanging space in our room, but not a real problem. It's not an easy place to find, especially in the dark. off the beaten track, but ideal if u want quiet. Shower a little cold even on hot and I think a cat or dog had been in the room as I had a slight allergic reaction. It is not very easy to find. Leaving!. Not easy to find.

Guests have access to their room via the property's private guest entrance to until 02:00. The airport shuttle is available between 06:00 - 10:00 and 16:00 - 22:00. Shuttles outside of these hours can be arranged on request, at an additional cost. Parking is free during your stay at the property. Secure holiday parking is available nearby at an additional cost.
