Due to a change in circumstances regarding attending an event in Widnes, we decided to make a return visit to the Cottage (previous stay in July 2013). What a lovely find in the nice village of Hale it was superb in every respect made very welcome .A lovely cosy and comfortable room with a very nice breckfast,exellent value for money.hope to return as our son is at liverpool University for the next two years .

When we made the reservation we asked for a quiet room with a good view and to be away from the bar area if possible. We got just that, our room was on the other side of the hotel well away from the kitchen and bar area so it was very quiet, and we had superb views. There were also plenty of car park spaces so you didnt need to worry about where to
