  Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! Getting to attend the Chievo/AC Milan game was one of the highlights of our trip, and Villa Mainard helped make that p... what people say » ossible - thank you!!! He also recommended the best pizza we've ever eaten in our lives - all in all, a great stay. - We had two apartments which were both very spacious. We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do. The concierge provided good information about local facilities, bus routes and local food shopping (would suggest these should be in a folder in Italian, English and German in each apartment. nb buy bus tickets at the local Tabak - cheaper than on the bus!)

  Set in the hills of Verona with amazing views. The design and architecture are superb. The owner Alberto welcomes you with a warm smile and makes you feel at home. We had a young family and stayed in the studio which was away from the main building, but never the less beautiful. It was truly luxurious. We stayed three days and felt sad to leave this special hotel. The breakfast was the most civilised we have ever had in a hotel. Mr. and Mrs Delser are great hosts. There was a separate kitchen area with everything you need. If you stay for a long time you can prepare some food with no trouble. The fridge could hold an elephant! Location is good for car but can also easily be accessed by bus - stop is right after the corner, travel to the city center takes 10-15 min.

  My husband and I along with 3 children stayed in the apartment of this beautiful hotel Easter weekend. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The day we arrived we enjoyed a wonderful 4 course meal with a bottle of wine overlooking Verona. We both agreed it was the best meal we had on our holiday.   Very friendly hosting. We got upgraded to suite because rooms were full, and was amazing room. Outside there is a lot of space, and small farm animals. - The hotel is brand new. Very organized and clean. Staff very friendly. Good location.

  Our room was fantastic with a large bathroom. Luxuriously set up and ideally located. Everything worked well and Maria cooked us wonderful breakfasts each morning. It was a perfect location for our weekend visit to Verona. Being within the ZTL area means hardly any cars around. Breakfast is served on the terrazza and you can talk to Luigi, the host, who will give you the best hints regarding the best foodie places in Verona. We will definitely come back:)

Thought they have just recently opened, and they are still ironing out some electronic quirks, they are right on top of every detail. And though the hotel is just around the corner from Piazza Bra, it was very peaceful I went there to celebrate a big birthday and staff helped with choosing a fabulous place to eat and also gave us good advice for our visit to Lake Garda. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
