I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  Everything!!! We were so happy with the staff, room, and location of Antica Perla, that we had to extend our vacation there one extra night. We have three small children and the location of this hotel was perfect. We loved that it was a little out of town because there was no "city noise" or traffic to bother our relaxation!!   The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.
