  The staff was outstanding. Anything I needed they provided, whether it was directions, a taxi, our a bottle of wine with glasses when the bar was closed. The bar was great, the bartender always ensured we had snacks to eat with our drinks. Morning breakfast was great, servers were always there to fill your coffee pot. IT had its restaurant opentill late which was convenient after a long day's journey on train. Thetriple room we made use of had ample space, and a very nice largebathroom. The hotel offers shuttle service to the airport which is veryconvenient and which we weren't aware of before speaking to the veryhelpful staff.

  The location was good because we travelled by train. Only 100 m from railway station! 15 min. Walk from centre. Staff friendly, very clean. Small bathroom but clean, the shower was good and even the hairdryer was working. We did not try the breakfast. For 65 eur/night it was ok. Although worried about the street noise below our window, we had the best sleep ever and woke late, however, no problem, we left our bags there for the rest of the day.   The location was great opposite the railway station, however you heard no noise from the trains. The receptionist who booked us in was very friendly and accommodating and we were allowed to check in and our room was ready at 1100 hours in the morning. The room was basic, little dated but perfectly clean and the bathroom was fine. Towels/soap were ... what people say » provided. There was 24 hour security with video cameras so felt perfectly safe. - What I liked most is that hotel was very very near to Pisa Centrali station. We didn't spend any time in locating it. Also, bus connectivity to Pisa was very good and we reach the tower in just 10 minutes. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices.

The blanket was a down/feather one so it was warm at night. - The service at B&B dei Cavalieri was welcoming and the value for money was very reasonable. On reflection I should have printed of the exterior picture to remember what it looked like. The breakfast was a fantastic spread.

The b - The host, Michele, was so enthusiastic about his property and Pisa. The property was superb, it had the best facilities of all establishments we visited on our tour of Italy, even tea & coffee making in the room and a computer.   It was my first time to visit Italy. My girlfriend and were looking to have a romantic getaway. We were surprised by the size of the rooms, they are much bigger than the pictures. We recommend this hotel thanks to the great service the personnel brings. A good 20 min walk from the Pisa Tower, Cathedral and the local old town, but wa - Owner Chiara was fantastic, always amenable and helpful, bright smile, friendly, and always found the time for you. Hotel staff were unobtrusive and kept the rooms spotless. Little things like changing the towels twice and the bed once for a three night stay are things not found in some 3 & 4 star hotels. Full marks for the Moderno, a 2 star hotel, with a 4 star service and a 5 star owner. - Strategic position: walking distance from station and airport; the staff was helpful; room was clean, had AC, TV and free wi-fi. I had to stay there for one night, and take a flight the day after and I paid a small price for a room with a shared bathroom, but ended up using the bathroom by myself, as they put me in a floor where everyone else had their own en-suite. Staff is there 24-hour a day.
