The hotel has been refurbished to a high standard. The room was very comfortable with high quality tea and coffee.
The staff were fabulous. We were in the hotel due to attending a funeral and the staff were exceptionally kind to me and my husband.
In the restaurant the quality of food was excellent alongside the great service. We would stay at this hotel again.

This is a lovely little hotel with a very warm and cosy atmosphere. Terry is a friendly and polite host who cares for his guests very much (for example: offers an umbrella when it rains). The setting was great: very near the shops but it felt nicely out of the town and was very quiet indeed. It was a very cosy and romantic place, and the staff were fantastic. Amazing, great atmosphere, beautiful garden with a huge tree in front of the house... I was only looking for a cheap and modest accomodation for only one night but I was really pleased by the tranquility of the place - it was a very nice place to stay! The staff was also very friendly, the bedding was perfectly clean, so if someone doesn't mind the shared facilities I would highly recommend the place.
