    Everything about this hotel was excellent,and I have never seen so muchfood for breakfast,the staff were great.i would def recomend thishotel,infact I have booked again for 2 weeks time and this time bringingthe kids 10/10 - The location is ideal as it is close to other services,shopping ,eating out and the movies.     The setting was great: very near the shops but it felt nicely out of the town and was very quiet indeed. It was a very cosy and romantic place, and the staff were fantastic. We arrived late and the receptionist made us some soup and sandwiches!! Couldn't have chosen a better hotel :) - We found the hotel staff all very polite, helpful and friendly... what people say » . It wascentral to where we needed to be. I particulary found the Hotel securityvery reassuring. The views were outstanding, and we plan to stay again,depending on our situation in this credit crunch.

    1. Simple old fashioned coaching inn with "Ghostly" history. To be fair, we arrived were attending a party nearby, had B/Fast next morning and left so didn't make use of the pub etc. The staff were fine and there had been a slight mix up over booking B/Fast however the owner really went out of his way to sort us out. B/Fast was one ... what people say » of the best we'd had in a long time staying at a venue. Well done. - Very friendly staff with good food. The breakfast was delicious but beware of the portion size (huge). The coaching inn is in the centre of Devizes. Ask to see the cellars as they were part of a tunnel system that ran all around Devizes in the old days. Room No. 4 is said to be one of the most haunted in England.

    The hotel was excellent for the price. I felt that the photos on the website and the comments from other customers did not give an accurate picture. We would certainly stay at the Old Manor Hotel again if in the area and reccommend it without hesitation. I would change the way the hotel is portayed on the site though, we were pleasantly surprise... what people say » d. - Absolutely fantastic Hotel, location and Rooms , Brilliant decor and really romantic.     The staff were all very friendly and attentive, the meal in the restaurant was excellent and the hotel throughout is furnished to a high standard. The bedroom was very well furnished, spaceous, with a large comfortable bed. Very nicely decorated bathroom. The hotel is in a beautiful village which is lovely to walk around. Unfortunately the best one can say about most hotels is that service was indifferent.. The Old Bell set the standard. They could not have done it better.     The staff in particular. They were very accomodating and helpful. Due to circumstances, we arrived early and an effort was made to provide food and get the room ready. This applied for the duration of our stay. All in all, it left us with a very good impression of the hotel. - Warm friendly atmosphere, good food, excellent room
