    We were given a great welcome by a delightful Spanish employee and as we were keen to see the Tour of Britain cycle race stage finish in Gateshead he allocated us a room with a view - we were very grateful.The dining room staff at breakfast set a high standard of service.     The location of the hotel was convenient to where I had to be the next day for a conference. I loved the site - by the river with wonderful views (especially at night), The hotel building was lovely - very attractive/welcoming exterior, wonderful interior design - very different and homely at the same time. My room on the 7th floor was wonderful - beautifully and thoughtfully furnishe - Every hotel has it's own personality but share a common set of standards and values... all very high. I like the wine list... Manchester had a special wine list which I would have liked to see in Newcastle. Young but not 'trendy'. The staff seem happy to be there!

    We had travelled to Newcastle to visit some friends last minute and hotel selection was limited. I noticed Hotel Indigo had good ratings and reviews and decided to take a look, it looked amazing if not a little above my budget. I booked us into a Executive double room for Saturday night, We was not disappointed, the Hotel was immaculate, the staff... what people say » were super friendly and very attentive to our needs, the room was excellent, very comfy and full of modern conveniences, amazing showers! Very nice t - Hotel was amazing from checking in to booking out. Interior design was 5* in our opinion. Modern contemporary and extremely comfortable. Bedrooms were fabulous, from decor to complimentary refreshments, bathrobes right down tho the Aveda products in the bathrooms. Cocktails are a definite must, as is food, especially breakfasts which we enjoyed in bed. Last but definitely not least .... The Staff... 5*++++++++ could not do enough for us and nothing was ever any trouble they definitely were the

    Having read previous reviews we were not disappointed by what we found when we arrived. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel! The place itself was clean bright relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was good once we had mastered the toaster! The pool and spa area was great too, so you must check this out.     I was given a free up grade as it was my wedding night. The room I wasgiven was fantastic. My new wife and I were more than pleased with theway we were treat. Thank you. - Excellent rooms which match a four star grade hotel. Friendly helpful staff and good breakfast buffet. Close to Metro Centre. Friends were upgraded to executive room.

    This is our second trip staying at the Staybridge suites.The staff and the service they provide is truly excellent. They just cannot do enough in making sure your stay is enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble for any staff member from receptionists to the cleaning staff to the staff providing breakfast. All are lovely people! Suites are very comf... what people say » ortable and I could easily live there! Breakfast is excellent and has plenty of full english and continental breakfast options. Great stay once again, - Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect and I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was friendly and helpful. The suite comes fully equipped and was extremely up to date. I can't imagine wanting for anything. We were even able to do our laundry for free. We had a view of all the beautiful bridges from our sixth floor suite. Also, great location, the quay is just two blocks away and very romantic to walk and dine there.

    Everything!! The rooms are furnished to a very high standard and the bar and lounge are very comfortable. All the staff are professional, attentive and friendly. We experienced some difficulties with our booking but the managers could not have done more to rectify the situation.     I wanted to take my girlfriend to Newcastle for her 25th birthday and required somewhere central and stylish. We were not left dissappionted. The decor in the apartments are fantastic, made us feel at home and very comfortable. Also the metro is a 2min walk away so for £1.20 you are in the city centre withing minutes or just a short taxi ride away.... what people say » I'll defo be using this Hotel again. - The staff were excellent and immediately upgraded my wife and I to another apartment when we had a minor problem with the smoke alarm. They were even understanding when I got home after our stay and discovered that I had inadvertantly packed one of their very small cushions (sent immediately back by recorded delivery). The apartments are ultra luxurious and we hope to go back soon.

    The food was good & value for money, the room was excellent with the shower taking top billing from both of us. All the staff were attentive to your needs & requests, nothing was to much trouble for them. Overall it was a vey good week end, I will have no problem recommending the Bowes Incline to my friends - The restaurant was excellent... what people say » - large range of dishes to choose from. All well presented and good size portions. The Breakfast menu was also good with a wide range of choices and again well presented. The staff were really helpful. The rooms were of a good standard. We thought this was good value for money.

    It was very good for what we needed, which was a good rest, with pleasant local restaurants for evening meals.. We were there during the exceptionally bad weather the last weekend but one in March, and the fact that it was pretty isolated down a deep narrow lane gave rise to concerns ( unfounded as it turned out) that there was the possibility of... what people say » adverse weather trapping us there or preventing our return after a day out. Because the weather was so cold we often returned early with a picnic tea - The location was an absolute delight with fantastic views. The accommodation was far beyond my expectations and was 5* quality, and totally luxurious. Breakfast in the farmhouse dining room was to a very high standard. I would have no reservations about recommending Riding Farm to every one
