  Extremely warm welcome and they let me park my motorcycle indoors so it was totally secure. Very friendly. Also (free) wireless in my room. There's another greta pub over the road from this one with a georgeous barmaid! Both highly recommended. - Excellent breakfast.   The staff were very friendly and attentive.The grounds are superb and if you want simply to relax and do nothing the public rooms are delightful places to spend time. - The staff and service were exceptional. I would recommend Armathwaite Hall to anyone looking for a unique luxury break in a beautiful environment.

  Wow, we stayed here in Dec 09 and it is wonderful, no wonder its the aa funkiest guest house in the whole UK! will return and would recommend highly, try the Bowness suite, it has its own pation, amazing bathroom and your breakfast magically appears out of nowhere! - The staff made us very welcome and the room was fantastic will be staying there a... what people say » gain.

  Bed was comfortable, good clean bathroom. Food was really excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. For a one night stay it would be superb.

  After reading some negative reviews about this hotel I was really not expecting much at all. How wrong I was. My two children (age 4 & 8) and I stayed for 1 night. The staff were friendly,helpful and lovely with my children. The food was delicious. The offer of £20 for a four course meal and both children ate free meant we could dine in the h... what people say » otel. The pool was a little cool but still enjoyed to the full.We look forward to our next visit. - the staff members were awesome they looked after our requirements of the menu as my wife didn't want what was on the sweet menu, they said no problem. she asked what do you like and they made it happen. wow impressive the chief was out standing in the presentation and taste of all the food we had. we really recommend the food top class at reasonable price. just like to say thank you for making our weekend special we will be going back
