  Bed was comfortable, good clean bathroom. Food was really excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful. For a one night stay it would be superb.

The small details within the house are beautiful, a real British B&B. The breakfast was fantastic and the coffee was amazing!   Gill and John were so warm and welcoming, we felt as if we were visiting a friends home. The full English breakfast they cooked for us each morning was fantastic! Our rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The location was ideal for walking into the shopping area of town and close surrounding areas. Jill very helpfully arranged the taxi for us when we were leaving. - Everything from the cosy very well decorated room, warm hostess who was extremely helpful in finding activities and transport info. The location of the hotel is perfect, just a minute away from the lake. Breakfast was very nice and the access to the SPA at the Old McDonald is the cherry on top. We really felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel.

  lovely area lovely view very,peaceful,with excellent staff . Good breakfast,friendly manager ,who had time for a chat though was very busy - The customer service was superb and it was fantastic to be able to take our dog and have her in the room with us

  The pool and spa facilities were excellent; it was clean and a very pleasant environment. The booking was easy and I liked the fact that no money was taken at the time of booking.
