  Stayed their recently while visitng my wife's famlily in the UK. To be honest the hotel was not our first choice, however we booked because it was a very convienient location. It turned out to be a great choice and great value. The hotel and restaurant has lots of character and charm, which is hard to find in the chain hotels. The rooms were small... what people say » to midsized, everything was functional, comfortable and very clean (overall I woud give the hotel top marks for cleanliness). We did eat at the resta - The staff were very friendly and had plenty of parking the executive suite was spacious and clean and good value for money the breakfast was lovely enough variety and very quick service the location was easy to get to and was far enough from the centre and traffic so it wasn't noisy but close enough that it was cheap in taxi to the centre didn't eat in the actual restaurant but looked very nice and drink prices from the bar were reasonable loved that they let us extend our room for 2hrs for £1

  I booked this hotel as the price was excellent value with breakfast included. The location was within easy reach of Aintree race course. During our stay the staff were all excellent and very helpful. We had booked in for two nights and decided to stay an extra night. The room although a little small (this was reflected within the price) was comfor... what people say » table and clean. The hotel does offer larger rooms. I would recommend this hotel and will be using it again - Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean room. Relaxed atmosphere. Lovely breakfast.
