  The room had been recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. It was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. I was very impressed by the decor and layout of the room. The leisure facilities were a welcome bonus that one often does not get in a city centre hotel. The food in the bar was of a high standard and reasonably priced. The st... what people say » aff were very friendly and helpful. - The hotel was inviting and the staff were very friendly. The hotel's location was very central and the shopping centre was a stone's throw away. The room was of a very high standard and the stay was very pleasant. We are planning another visit to the thistle again in january. I would Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking fro somewhere central, comfortable and high class.

  very close to the city centre,close to theatre and concert venues,also reception got us tickets face value for concert,also left phone charger but was sent to us with no fuss excellent service - This overnight stay was a gift for Anniversary for relatives. They were extremely happy with the hotel and the facilities.
