  The hotel is very well situated for getting to the shops. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room we had was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We had a view of the river. It is such a charming hotel- you can picture Queen Victoria strolling through it's halls. The bar/lounge area was super comfortable and had some great Scottish beers on tap. The cooked and cold breakfast selection was great and very tasty. The room breakfast is served in is delightful and welcoming with great views of the river. It's in walking distance to everything!
