  My husband and I stayed in the black pearl room for 2 days for a mid week break. We arrived in the morning and took a chance that our room would be ready, to our delight it had just been cleaned. So we were allowed to check in about 11.30am instead of between 3-5pm. Couldn't fault the room, was maintained to a very high standard. We found Scarborough to be a bit hilly, so if your wan - Situated opposite the harbour. the views from the front bedrooms were great. The room we had was spacious with tea, coffee, bottled water and toiletries provided. Bedroom and bathroom were very clean and there was a small table & chairs at the window so we could watch the world go by. Kingsize bed was comfy and downstairs the restaurant/cafe looked over the harbour and served the best cooked food we've had for a long time. Good selection throughout the day and priced on a par with every
