  The Kings Arms was an excellent place to stay. The bedroom was large, very clean with nice comfortable beds. The manageress (Molly) was lovely and did everything to make our stay memorable. The food was excellent, breakfast was very well cooked and served in a very attractive dinning room. At night there was a nice fire in the public bar, and the ... what people say » staff were very pleasant - Nothing to dislike. Very quiet village. Food brilliant and service efficient. Very clean. Not too far from the Lake District or Scotland for that matter. We shall stay there again and probably as an overnight stay on our journey to Scotland. We will definitley recommend the Kings Arms to our friends.
