I enjoyed my stay at the County Hotel, The room was lovely, The heating was on and the room was cosy. The bathroom was great, bath and shower, heated towel rail also. The food was great and their cafe seemed to be doing a roaring trade for the locals.friends have also eaten here and recommended it. Everything was very nice. - Warm and Comfortable,

The staff/owners were quite cordial and accommodating.
The room was quite adequate, clean and above the usual B&B. I quite like that a tea pot was available in the room. Breakfast was a wonderful assortment. I had looked at other bookings, am so delighted to have chosen this one. -

The Manager on duty Sunday 22nd September. We arrived late, very tired and stressed by Edinburgh's lack of road signs, and after the kitchen was closed. The staff was amazing. They were friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic, filling and very affordable. The full breakfast was very good and was enough to keep you going through the day. The bus stops right outside the doors, which is extremely convenient. It's just a short ride into Edinburgh or Rosslyn Chapel. The bar was very inviting and had a great selection of beer, wine, cider and hard alcohol.
