  The lovely garden. Helpful and friendly staff. Superbly comfortable bed. Huge bath in the bedroom and a very snazzy bathroom with both a power and a rain shower. A very decent range of real ale (locally brewed) and a quality draft cider. The delighful (and lazy) Millie. This is a dog friendly hotel and as a dog friendly but non-owning couple we e - Great location, amazing views from the room. The bars have roaring fires with plenty of choice including real ales. Very enjoyable stay in a comfortable, clean room with lovely decor and more than enough tea/coffee/hot chocolate provided. There was also a traditional stopper bottle of filtered water which I thought was a very nice touch. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, food menu/breakfast excellent and nicely presented. Would definitely recommend the Castle and hopefully will

  we stayed in a attic room absolutely beautiful (willow) very spacious, clean, well decorated with lovely big oak beams, tea and coffee in good supply and the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in and i am very fussy about beds. Rosie did everything to accomidate us, always there when you needed but was never overbearing like so many guest hous... what people say » e owners are, it felt like we were in our own house. the best break i have experienced to date. - Excellent location for travellers that have their own transport.Lovely town and the Guest house was immaculate and Rosie was very welcoming and very helpful Great value for money for a quite country stay.Close to Ludlow and other attractions.We were in the the BIRCH room which was absolutely beautiful. Wifi to room most important.
