This is so good a B&B that you'll find yourself thinking of any excuse to return! We booked because we couldn't find any vacancies closer to City centre-well thank goodness!!
Ian & Karen have really thought this one out-in all respects. Their friendly(but not patronising or fussing) attitude helped us relax & feel at ease as soon as we arrived.

I loved the laid back feel to the place. I wonder how many little 'gems' like this place still exist. We were greeted with freshly baked chocolate cake on arrival and informed that there was wine in the fridge in the dining room, for payment you popped your money in the honesty box. Family run old Manor, welcoming, little home made cakes in the lovely hall. Sammie (daughter) and John (father) were so friendly and really made us feel at home. After a meal out we decided to go back to the Manor, where we found a courtesy box next to the fridge which held an array of different wines. So we bought s bottle and sat in the grand lounge over looking the beautiful gardens , so relaxing. Full Cheshire breakfast, home made bread, fresh eggs, field mushrooms mmmmm . We stayed two ni

We had a great stay at Kilmorey Lodge. Great location for the town
centre £3 odd in a taxi, but far enough away to enjoy a relaxing day if
you wanted. There's a pub directly opposite that does great food
too. All in all a great little place. Will definitely be returning to

There were two aspects of our stay at Chester's Stone Villa Guest
House which I feel are particularly worthy of an especial mention.
Firstly, the genuine warmth and sincerity of the owners'
hospitality. 'They couldn't do enough for us' is a bit of a
cliché, but I found that Dave, Kirsty and Stephen were all very
professional, courteous, friendly,

I went to Chester for a birthday weekend, and was not disappointed. The
hotel had been given excellent reviews, and so that's why we chose
it. We were not disappointed, ... when we arrived both Kirstie and David
welcomed us and were very attentive, fetching our cases, recommending a
beautiful Italian restaurant to us and even booked the restaurant and
taxi. We stayed in Room 5 and was pleasantly surprised, the room and
bathroom were spacious, the bedding was beautiful, the room had fruit in
it,
