  I stayed at the Avon Causeway due to my lack of organisation and the designated hotel for a friends wedding was full. I'm glad it was. Recommend. - Had a wedding to attend in christchurch, so just looked for a reasonable priced place to stay. We were very impressed, it is the old Hurn Railway station and breakfast was served in the pullman carriage, it was lovely. Very clean comfortable pub, with lovely beer garden and very good food, wished we could have stayed longer.

Being near the main road thought noise might be a problem, this it fact was not the case, maybe because our room was at the back of the hotel with a good view over looking fields. Right from the start...booking in with a lovely young lady at reception, the warm welcome she gave us...we knew we had picked well. The personal attention given by taking us to our room, pointing out hotel facilities was excellent. We will definately book again. - One road off the sea front and an easy walk into town. Our room was great and then we got upgraded to shelter us from the noise of a wedding reception. Roll top bath in the big luxurious room; on suite as well. The staff were caring and professional, the food fantastic. We ate on our 2 for 1 Tastecard which was another bonus.
