  We loved everything about Ca' Gottardi. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Fabio was a delight, and Luke must be the most friendly and positive Italian guy we have met on our trip :) The room we had was one with a view (ask for second building) and required walking up some stairs, but we did not mind!   My stay at Giudecca Bella was wonderful, and allowed for a more relaxed and quiet stay in Venice, than staying on San Marco. And the great thing is it is only 2 minutes away from San Marco on the ferry. Very friendly and welcoming, very pretty, and the price is right, particularly for Venice. With the ferry it only takes 2 min. to get over the small channel of Giudecca. The price is perfect as well. Most of the hotels in Venice are really expensive, but here I paid less. Amazing!

  The location was very close to St Marks Square with wonderful restaurants and shops. Olga, was fantastic. The place was spotless and the breakfast was not your typical coffee and muffin. Olga served meat,cheese,yogurt, freshly squeezed juice, crackers croissants, espresso and cappuccino.   I had such a great time here! The place is very clean and comfortable. The décor is absolutely amazing and inviting. It makes you feel very relaxed and as if you were staying in a hotel. It was - Great location, very easy to find, just few meters away from Grand Canal, and very close to San Marco (5min). Beautiful roof terrace. Very clean hostel. Big space where you can hang out. I came during off season,to visit Venice biennial, for one night I payed just 20 eur. Stayed in 3 bed room,and for both nights I was staying only with one very quiet Japanese girl. Breakfast is simple, but for me was just perfect, coffee, croissant, bread, jam. Definitely coming back again!
