  The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops.   We loved Laura and her staff at Musciara Resort. They were professional and extremely attentive while also being warm and very approachable.
