The location for a visit to Rome was perfect for those whe enjoy walking around a city. It was close to many of the major monuments, resteraunts, and public transport. The accomodation was excellent with wonderful views over some of Rome's ancient temples. The breakfast was very good and staff helpful.

  It is a very young modern Hotel. - The stuff is just great, super-proffesional! Hotel is quite new, rooms are well-designed, good-furnished and really nice, as well as hotel itself. Breakfast is great, but quite expencive. Location is not in "touristic" place, so you can find a lot of cafe, bars and shopes with usual prices.

  We stayed here 2 nights because we went to a concert at Atlantico. The location was perfect for the concert as we could walk home and skip the traffic and nightmare of parking. We even went into town for a day and it wasn't too bad, there is a bus that stops out front and takes you up to the subway.   I liked the fact that it was a four star hotel(sometimes hotel ratings don't reflect the reality).The location was excellent, no tourist around so we got to eat and drink with the locals.Also it was easy to move around,bus 105 was right in front of the hotel and would bring you everywhere.I Didn't use the Restaurant in the hotel so I can't comment... what people say » on that. If you're coming from Ireland or uk and love drinking in the residential bar you can forget about it.Il Pignetto has everything to offer eve - We loved everything about this hotel. Although it is further out from city central, it is easy to take the bus. Don't listen to reviews saying it is in a bad area - we had no issues and even walked around at night (we were just two females). Yes there is graffiti but it is everywhere. The breakfast was the best we had in Italy, the staff was super friendly (be sure to get a map at reception - we didn't use anything else and left our bulky travel books in the room) and the rooms clean and modern

Close to shops. - I mentioned to the porter before arriving that this was our 25th wedding anniversary and the manager took the time and trouble to send us a lovely handwritten note and a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Durin two week period of my stay, they cleaned the room everyday and changed the towels etc. Internet wifi signal was perfect in the room. Metro station was in 2 min distance.   Staff was wonderful about giving us help and information about Rome. We were able to take the van and be dropped off in the center of Rome. Very nice not to have to drive into Rome. Room was large and breakfast was wonderful! - Good value, clean nice rooms.
