  You cannot beat the location of this hotel - we were fortunate to have get a room with lake views. It's on the lakefront so central to everything. The staff were wonderful! Always friendly and couldnt do enough to oblige. The hotel was recommended to us and we have in turn recommended it to others. We even showed our literature we had to the pilot of our aeroplane coming home who was looking for a nice hotel for his daughter ti stay!

  The rooms are spacious, clean and the public areas are spacious. There is a lift (handy for suitcases). We needed help with sorting out a problem and we didn't have enough Italian to be able to handle it. The staff was fantastic!   Excellent hotel and superb food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alpino. The hotel and restaurant was ideally placed just a few metres away from the harbour in Malcesine. Our room was of a good size, clean, well decorated and had quiet, efficient air conditioning. The en suite bathroom was on the small side but was clean, well equipped, and provided with toiletries and fresh towe - What is there not to like? We loved it and will be back! As so many others, we stayed at the Hotel Alpino for our son's wedding and it could not have been a better choice of location - close to the Castle, the beautiful old gobble stone walkways. Patrizia and her staff were fantastic - organising transfers, catering for the 15 month old baby in our party so that she had her own highchair and kiddy's fork and colourfull paper napkin.
