  Central location was top priority. Desk staff extremely helpful in directing to places to eat, etc. Very attractive lobby, excellent choices for breakfast. - Excellent location. Smack in the middle of where you want to be as a tourist. Felt safe walking around. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.

  Excellent hotel. Booked it from the reviews on line and I can't praise the hotel and staff enough. We paid a little extra for a room overlooking the lake and the view was well worth it. Very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Ferry stop to all the touristy places was right outside the hotel and there are restaurants and bars nearby. Parking is available about a 5 min walk away for a small charge. - Great location, around the corner from the lakefront promenade with its luxury hotels, including the 150 year old Grand Hotel des Iles Borromees, of Hemingway (A Farewell to Arms) fame. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Giuseppe, who greeted us on arrival and daily with a warm smile and two-handed handshake. A short walk to everything, downtown shopping and restaurants and the ferries to the islands in the lake. Generous breakfast buffet with home-baked cakes and pastries.

  It was very peaceful, enjoyed the views of the lake and was a great place to relax as we wanted to spend a few days without too much driving etc. The hotel has a beautiful location, views from the terrace/pool were amazing. And the centre of the town was but a few steps away, so got to sample some nice friendly resturants etc. - We loved our room... what people say » , on the third floor with a spacious terrace and view over the lake and pool. The staff was welcoming and friendly and really went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The location was terrific - we can't wait to return!

  I had a wonderful stay in Rocche Costamagna with my wife in Nov 2013. Got the famous Room No. 4 with 3 balconies (one is in the toilet!) and able to capture the stunning view over the Barolo valley. Room is beautifully and modernly decorated. The distance from the village centre is just right - a brief stroll but far enough away.

  Gorgeous villa with lovely gardens and pool overlooking Lake Maggiore. We had a very spacious room with a lake view and a spa. Good value for money. There is a restaurant onsite and the meals were lovely. We had the beef fillet with porcini mushrooms (very tender & perfectly cooked) and requested a side of vegetables (the Chef cooked us spi... what people say » nach and potatoes, which were delicious). The second night we had pasta and ragu, which was tasty. The breakfasts were very good; lots of choice, in - Villa Margherita was very nice! We had a room with lake view but our whirlpool was broken, after mentioning this they upgraded us to the best room in the house, a beautiful large room with a huge wirlpool. The view of the lake was amazing! The balcony looks cute and it's nice to sit in the evening and enjoy the view. Hotel was easy to find with gps and there were a lot of parking places by the hotel (for free). We also loved the beautiful large garden, so nice to relax and very quiet.
