These guys aim to please!!! They speak English very well. The rooms were big and clean. Breakfast was good and they even cooked up some eggs and bacon. Daniella, her husband and Frederico are friendly, generous, and incredibly attentive hosts, offering practical advice on tourist attractions and on local restaurants. There is a sense of calm throughout the property, the rooms are comfortable and clean and the pool is pleasant. The breakfasts are amazing feasts offering everything you could want! This exquisitely renovated castle provides every luxury and is a great base for exploring the beautiful Barolo wine country. Nonetheless, the high point for us was the food. Chef (and owner) Denise Pardini, whose resume includes at stint at Chez Panisse, has figureed out how to brighten traditional Piedmontese cuisine for the modern palette. Everything was delicious.
