Piedmont Hotels

We stayed for 2 nights in a junior suite on the first floor. The room had just everything we could possibly need: LCD TV, radio with CD player, jacuzzi, huge double bed, a proper hairdrier, safebox etc... What really amazed us was the size of the room: a family of 3 people could easily live there! A big plus is that there is a wooden floor, so the room is cleaner than average carpeted rooms and allergy-free. We stayed at Best Western Hotel Piemontese again this time, both at the beginning and final days of our holiday. We returned there following an enjoy stay on another trip to Turin 2 years ago. It is in Via Berthollet making it an easy walk to the train & metro as well as all the lovely piazzas in Turin. This hotel is value for money when compared with the prices charged by other hotels in Turin. It is a family owned & run hotel so there is a genuine interest in guests comfort. It is o - Marianne

Having spent a wonderful Easter holiday visiting this beautiful hotel with its heavenly setting, incredible food and wonderful service I felt compelled to comment. From the elegant long driveway to the hills surrounded by vineyards this is certainly a touch of traditional Italy on the outside but with all the modern luxury inside. wonderfull hotel, beautifull room, very friendly people. we had a great stay at town house. at the morning we were leaving at 05.45 the breakfast buffet was already ready, and the man at the desk gave us some croissants and even made us quickly a cappucino as we had a taxi at 06.00! how wonderfull. we really recommend this hotel as it is also in the middle of the shopping centre. the via roma and other shopping streets are on the corner, also near by piazzo castillo (i don't write it the right w - James

The service was amazing, the staff spoke excellent English and even helped give directions via the telephone, when we were lost. The hotel is spacious, clean and modern, rooms are comfortable with fabulous showers. Breakfast was affordable and they catered well. Also enjoyed the fabulous Pizzaria two minutes walk from the hotel. I would go again. - Paul

We had a wonderful stay at the Starhotels Majestic and in Turin. The hotel is centrally located, just opposite the train station - good for the Sadem airport bus and the train without the need for taxis. Going to the centre of town takes a bit of a longer walk but there're also buses and trams just a couple of streets away (on Via XX Sept ). Buy the Torino card - it covers all museums and transport and is excellent value. The room we had was large, comfortable and nicely appointed, with a nice v - Laura

We stayed 5 days at this very nice place. Every morning during breakfast we enjoyed the beautiful view overlooking the hills. With in the distance La Morra on top of the mountain. The breakfast is abundant and very well taken care of. Something you don't automatically expect in Italy. The rooms are very nice and clean, with a view on the swimmingpool. The swimmingpool isn't very large, but suits the guests for there are only 13 rooms. In all it's a very nice an quiet spot to relaxe. The r - Paul

This hotel was really nice. Our room was good too but we chose a standard room so I'm sure there are nicer rooms, but we had really large bed, and it was really clean so we were happy. I think it's slightly too far out to walk into the city centre although we didn't try it as my partner was in crutches but it's 1km to Porto Nuova station and 2km to the city centre. When we asked at reception how to get into the centre, we had a little miscommunication. We were told to get the number 4 bus and - Tim

The Royal hotel was a nice setting for our 3 days vacation around Lago Magiorre. First the hotel is renewed so the rooms have a nice setting and are very clean. Second , its location is fantastic - 5 minutes walk from the boats to Isola Bella and the Funicular (cable car) to the Mottarone mountain peak. The staff was very friendly and supportive and the breakfast served in the garden had a nice touch about it. We enjoyed our stay there! - Antonio
