  Perfect location, only 2 minutes walk away from the Cavour Metro station plus one of the best gelato shops in Rome (Fatamorgana) is right outside the hotel. A number of nice cafes around, with a pizza restaurant next door that can deliver food to your hotel room free of charge. It is a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, The Roman Forum, Trojan's Forum and The National Monument to Vittorio Emanuale II which are all must see landmarks in Rome.   Although you might have a little difficulty spotting the hotel initially as it doesnt have the obvious exterior look of a hotel, with a clear glassdoor which oversees the lobby and reception, it isnt too difficult to find as the street is not too complicated. The room is big enough (Europe standard), the bed is absolutely comfortable and the shower is mmmmmmm... what a great experience after walking Rome. The bathroom, the huge TV, the DVD... everything is new and modern. Really clean. The coffee and tea facilities are very good to take something quikcly and start exploring Rome without delay. The staff was really kind and helpful.

  We booked a budget room but were upgraded, for a small negotiable additional charge, to a better room which had wonderful views over Lago Albino and facilities outside in which to relax and enjoy the view. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful; the bedroom was spacious and comfortable with cooking and fridge facilities if require... what people say » d; the dining room for breakfast was magnificent (we did not have dinner as were committed elsewhere) and were able to use the facilities uninterrupte - The breakfast while traditional was superb. The pastries were absolutely wonderful and were accompanied by your choice of beverages, yogurt, bread and homemade jam, and a hardboiled egg. The dog, Lu-La, while a Giant Canne Corso, is a cream puff who loves to be petted and will follow you all around the property but not into any of the facilities.

  We loved everything about Inn Spagna Charming House in Rome, Italy. Especially the staff, cleanliness and location. Everyone was friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The whole complex was clean and the location was better than we could have hoped for with restaurants on each block. We always felt safe. Close to central station, and it's easy to find with the direction I received from hotel couple of days before I arrive. Staff were extremely helpful and hospitality. It feels so good to use a key to open the front door everyday, feel like a local come home:) - Not sure I want to provide a review about this place as it will be giving away a secret! I travel to Rome often and had to book this hotel at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised. What struck me the most was the friendly nature of the family running this establishment. I can only describe it as old fashioned hospitality with a genuine smile. Bedroom was huge for mid city standards and shower was larger than most 5 star hotel.

  Location was tranquil, the rooms were spacious, the availability of a kitchen to cook - Staff were excellent, as was proximity to small convenience store and public transport, some cheap but good eateries nearby. Not too far away from the city centre, and definitely excellent for trips to St Peter's. Plus the rooms were huge, bright and clean.

By using the 3 keys (Building gate, s - Brilliant location, could walk to bascillica in 10 mins, the Coleseum in 15 mins. Lots of nice restaurants within a few minutes walk. Piazza Navona is also very near. We didn't need to get a taxi during our stay, only back to the bus station on the day we were leaving. It's all about location, location, location!!!!! Right in the centre of Rome you couldn't get much better. Fabiana is also a great help. Stay here definitely.
