The location is great--right next to Villa Borghese, a huge park where you can run, walk, ride bicycles (for rent), and cool off in the summer (there are museums and a zoo as well).   Very good location, bus&metro station were near by, and it's also easy to reach lots of historical site by walk. Close to central station, and it's easy to find with the direction I received from hotel couple of days before I arrive. Staff were extremely helpful and hospitality. Quite simple room but clean, I chose street view room it's a litt... what people say » le bit noisy but tolerable. It feels so good to use a key to open the front door everyday, feel like a local come home:) - Not sure I want to provide a review about this place as it will be giving away a secret! I travel to Rome often and had to book this hotel at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised. What struck me the most was the friendly nature of the family running this establishment. I can only describe it as old fashioned hospitality with a genuine smile. Bedroom was huge for mid city standards and shower was larger than most 5 star hotel.

  Everything was perfect!!! The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean and just enough space for you to sleep and keep your luggage. You don't go to Rome to sit in the room. Next time I go to Rome I will definitely stay there again.   This is a real country side hotel. Very nice contrast after the crowdy and noisy city. Lots of space, very nice and helpful staff and management. We've been travelling in Italy for 2 weeks, and this hotel has the best restaurant we ever met in the country.   It was very clean, they cleaned the bathroom and changed the towels everyday and also made the beds every day. We had warm water all the time, they also had a kitchen with fridge, cooker and microwave oven. We stayed in a 2 rooms apartment and we had shared bathroom but that was not a problem as we never intersected with the other guests. There are some supermark - Location right around the corner from Rome Termini Station. Easy access to trains, Metro, Express Buses to both airports. Very helpful, friendly front desk. Specialy Mr.Ali was a great man with useful information Supermarket,and Post Office very close. Felt very safe at night. Would stay again.

  The area is great, though close to Vatican, still very local and friendly with local people around, shops and restaurants/pizzerias. Just 10 minutes to Vatican entry, about 7 minutes to metro, around 25 to Termini by metro. The staff is splendid and always happy to help and consult or assist.
