  The owner of this apartment, who is an elderly lady, was very friendly and she gave me the illusion that she is my true grandmother. I like her! Location was perfect for me; easy to go to Vatican City on foot, easy to go to metro station on foot in order to go to the center of Rome. - Location, comfortable beds, nice stuff.

  Everything!!!! What a fantastic group of people, especially Guiseppi!!!! ( not sure of the spelling) . We went to Rome on July 1st and sinceour return home, we have been telling our friends that travel to makesure to stay at the Pinewood!!!   Very hospitable, the staff were all very accommodating - especially Dulla (not sure of the spelling) who waited for us to arrive at midnight when we were supposed to be there around 9.30pm (delayed flight etc.,) and Marco the son who went out of his way to be helpful. It was very very close to Piazza Navona. We walked EVERYWHERE because the location was so central to everything. It was in a great building too with a lot of traditional European charm. Our apartment was spacious by and very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The Piazza Navona is ideally located for access to major historical sights in Rome including Vatican City, the Pantheon, beautiful water fountains, churches, buildings and other historical locations too many to list. It was like a loft or studio apartment with balcony and outside terrace. I would like to live there! We had very luxorious feeling. All windows and doors looked into the inner yard and the only noice came from the corridoor, when somebody came inside the building. Air conditioning worked perfectly.

  Reseptionist was very helpfull, The room was bigger and nicer then we expected, the location is very good just 10 minutes to get to Termini. There are lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel and very good at nights. - Proximity of the hotel to the university where I had meeting.

We had one day to see Rome so the lady on reception gave us a map and drew out where to go. She also gave us tips on where to eat and how to get to the airport. We booked a private room for three so had to walk about 300m from the freedom traveller - which was no bother because we were upgraded to an ensuite. Only about a 15 minute walk from the colosseum.

  Great location, Camping Tiber runs a bus service frequently to the Porta Prima train station for €1 return, it's then €1.50 for 100 minutes worth of train travel, you will only use 30-40 mins but oh well!! On your return to Porta Prima it's another 100min ticket. The campsite did a great selection of food, we had two great Pizza and house wine is... what people say » fine. We stayed in the cabins with no on suite, these were fine and a bit cheaper but next time we'll pay the extra few euro a day and be on suite, t - It was just a lovely place to stay, and the shuttle bus too and from the train station was very useful. The restaurant was also very nice and reasonably priced for both breakfast and dinner.
