  The service was excellent. I was was ill the first day of my stay and the staff went to the pharmacy to get medication and even offered to call in a doctor.   I liked my room a lot. It was more than comfortable. The bathroom was nice, but not having a shower curtain or door took a bit of getting used to. I didn't like splashing water all over the bathroom floor. This hotel had a blow dryer that worked well. For the most part, most hotels tend to offer those old 1970 blow dryers that are more like hoses... what people say » . Not this one. I was quite happy about that. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. I loved having a balcony and being able to open the - Excellent location with the Vatican a 5min walk. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was basic but for the price you pay it sets you up well for the day. All round, would highly recommend!

  We got an upgrade to an excellent room. The staff were extremely nice and helped us with our Italian. Barbara was especially nice and made our reservation at the Borgese gallery. Everything was excellent and the staff could not have been better. - very nice, good location, excellent breakfast although they should reduce the charge for children
