  Staff were very friendly and helpful. Superior rooms were large with nice bathrooms. We walked to lots of major attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colloseum and Roman Forums were all 15 - 20 minutes easy walk away. My wife and daughters found plenty of shopping nearby, especially on and around Via Nazionale which is 40m f - Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking. Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars.

  It is a very young modern Hotel. - The stuff is just great, super-proffesional! Hotel is quite new, rooms are well-designed, good-furnished and really nice, as well as hotel itself. Breakfast is great, but quite expencive. Location is not in "touristic" place, so you can find a lot of cafe, bars and shopes with usual prices.

So the 10-15 minutes to the nearest subway station or the Spanish Steps is really nothing. Read up on Roman - This is a very well appointed hotel that is a pleasure to visit. There is a lovely garden around the hotel. It was easy for us and our 8 year old son to walk to all major attractions. The area is quiet at night and there are excellent nearby restaurants. Breakfast was excellent, consisting of cold meats, cheese, eggs, fresh fruit, cereals and numerous tarts and pastries.   We absolutely LOVED House Monti!! In fact, on an 8 month trip around the world this is one of my top rooms! Located right in the heart of Rome - literally 5min walk or less from the Colosseum and so close to everything else it was perfect - we walked everywhere! Though if you need the Metro is right there. The staff was really serviceminded and helped us call about our luggage since we weren't able to recieve it when we were on a guided tour. High speed free internet.   We love this resort! In all our travels through Italy, this B&B is by far the most beautiful! The rooms are fantastic with wide open views of the beautiful countryside. The food is superb!
