Staff were very friendly and helpful. Superior rooms were large with nice bathrooms. We walked to lots of major attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colloseum and Roman Forums were all 15 - 20 minutes easy walk away. Metro also two blocks away for a 7 minute trip to the Vatican Metro station. Hotel breakfast was continental but sufficient and nice and easy before starting the day. My wife and daughters found plenty of shopping nearby, especially on and around Via Nazionale which is 40m f.
all reviews » Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking. Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars. I enjoyed the 4 days spent with my husband and two year old sun at this hotel . The room was very clean , breakfast was delicous and the personal very friendly . We checked in at 9 am and checked out the room at 4pm without any extra cost . Thank you Mr. Andrea for that . The hotel is located in the center of Rome very close to Colloseum , Victoriano or Fontana di Trevi . I recommand this hotel also for familiy with little baby's. Hotel's of location is very nice. Walk in almost 5min. to Termini Station. 3 stop to Collesium, 2 stop to Trevi Fountain, 3 stop to Spanish Steps with metro.. the Staff were friendly and helpful.. The Rooms are very clean and cleaned everyday by staff.. Can use free wi-fi in all rooms.. If I come to Rome, I will stay one more time in this hotel.. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One older daughter was originally booked into a single room. Don't do it. They are the size of a cupboard and claustrophobic. The difference between the Superior Rooms and the single rooms was massive. Spend the extra Euros and go to Superior standard. No shower curtain on the bathtub/shower meant our bathroom floor was flooded every time we had a shower and had to use multiple towels to dry the floor. Easy for the hotel to fix with a screen or curtain. The double bed was small (but comfortable) for two adults, unless they are accustomed to sleeping very close together!. The entrance to the building has a small sign, and is old. But inside the hotel is different, not like the entrance. Sett paved street makes an awful noise, thus no chance to open a window during sleep. Unpleasant smell of carpet in the room. Uncomfortable bathroom with a very small shower stall. After showering the whole bathroom is full of water. Elevator costs 10 cents. What? Bathtub is very short. The only thing I lacked was a fridge:). Walls are not sound-proof. In the early morning, I clearly heard somebody slamming doors shut and talking loudly. Very important: pillows were super uncomfortable. Need to pay attention. Perhaps pillows from IKEA( down) are a good solution.Small rooms with very little space to hang clothes and the washroom too small as well. few places for dinner. Outlook from room rather dark but personally didn't find this a problem. The wifi was really weak. We had to stand in certain parts of the room to get it to work properly. Breakfast room too small for hotel size. Breakfast ok but a bit limited range. Street noise was non-existent in our room but an elevator may have been nearby as something made noise throughout the night. Complimentary breakfast was very basic. Not one single thing. This time I only stayed in Rome for one night, but if I had longer, I would prefer a more central location. Tiny shower Construction site outside window...noisey early.. Tiny bed..cld be trouble if 6ft. Some of the rooms of our group were situated on the lowest level facing the court and this was not cosy at all. Was not able to open window in room for air as there was a bakery of some sort in the building and made the room stuffier and stinky. Nothing,. I dont have any bad thoughts. Nothing. you have to pay to use the lift. Nothing. NO. The beds were hard, we had to use inflatable mattress on both beds. Shower was tiny and difficult to get in!. Breakfast is continental, no more. Our room didn't have much natural light as it was looking over the back of the building. could be noisy in the mornings, staff we think. Quite small room.Scary lift. the shower head did not work properly. Location a bit noisy and shower's a tight fit. Size of room, view from room. I've seen bigger single rooms.
