The rooms were in good condition as well, although most rooms have windows opening up to a narrow alley where you can't even see the sky and you can almost reach out to the neighboring room.

  We stayed in Maison Borella for five nights. It was a very comfortable hotel, great facilities, friendly staff, nice location (right along the canal).   The Sunflower is not located in city centre but very close to the tram station that can take you to the tube so within 15-20 minutes you can get to Duomo. It's a good compromise between price and location. As Milan is a safe city even in the middle of the night you can go back to the hotel with no feeling of fear. As to the hotel itself it's quiet... what people say » , well equipped, clean simply excellent to stay in if you pop up to Milan for sightseeing. Breakfasts are fine. Nothing exceptional but everyone can f - Clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. Getting to the hotel initially wasn't easy but once we got used to Milan's excellent public transport, it was great.

  Plenty! Firstly, I received a very prompt and professional response to an e-mail sent advising of my late check-in time. When I arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming and spoke brilliant English (my Italian is virtually non-existent). My room was very spacious and was absolutely immaculate. The bed was spacious and comfortable and my room had an efficient air-conditioning system (it was 35-40°C during my stay so this made a mass - The room size - it's by far the biggest room I've ever had in Italy. The room is clean, cozy and well illuminated. There're enough wall sockets in the room and they're conveniently located. Wifi very stable and it's free. One of the staff was helpful. He showed me the buses and the shopping areas with a map. In your room there's a map which shows the bus routes and the nearby restaurants. The hotel is very responsive to emails, which I really appreciate. Location is okay if you don't mind stay
