  The Hotel really is behind the Duomo. There was still renovationshappening inside the hotel and road works at the Piazza Fontana, butsomehow, we could hear no noise at all from our room. The rooms were in good condition as well, although most rooms have windows opening up to a narrow alley where you can't even see the sky and you can almost reach out to the neighboring room.

Directly across from train station, we only stayed one nite before moving on the next day and it was excellent.   Camperio House is one of the absolute best and most comfortable hotels that we have stayed at during our travels throughout Europe. It is centrally located, Sylvia at the front desk was exceptional and went beyond what was expected and made our stay extremely enjoyable. The breakfast buffet with eggs was good, and the bed was actually comfortable.... what people say » There was also two parking areas available, one even facilitated a large SUV. - The beds are very comfortable and the classic room is reasonably spacious with a mini fridge and kettle if those things are important to you. The location of the hotel could not be better for getting around Milan. Very close to Metro and just off of the pedestrianised path to the Duomo. Easy walk to Brera, La Scala etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
