We wanted to be near to La Scala as we had tix, and were delighted by the hotel: it was clean, comfortable, served an excellent breakfast and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The guest relations manager went out of his way to ensure our visit was successful, recommending restaurants etc. The hotel has a beautiful garden, swimming pool and spa, and we really couldn't fault it. the people were very helpful and friendly. the pool and spa was amazing.

Be careful with motocycles, they cut one tire and then when you are stopped busy repairing the tire they stole what is in your car. It is not a cheap hotel, but it is worth the money, because of the service and the beautiful garden. The drinks in the room are too expensive (4 E for mineral water).our room was looking to the street and it was very noisy. It would be a good idea not to charge extra for the use of swimming pool and spa for the hotel guests. It will increase guest intakes for the hotel.Air conditioner. I kept turning on even if I turn it off every half an hour. Video (movies) on demand is 11e. I think it is to expensive conserning price per night. There was no price list for mini-bar or I could not find it. It should be located somewhere where guest can easy find it. price. you need car, taxi or underground to go to the city center. The location is not really that close to city centre but still it only takes around 15 mins to go to some major tourist spots e.g. Duomo. price. Breakfast. The airco didn't work like it should, it was beween 25.5 and 26 ° in the room and they couldn't solve the problem.In the room we found a note that, if we would use the swimming pool(with sauna) ,we should have to pay 15,00 euro's /person . I said I didn't like this at all and finally they didn't charge it on our bill.Bookings should mention this on his site. The add on charges for provided facilities and the fluctuation upward of nightly stay rates. For what you get the hotel is too expensive especially taking into account that all facilities and services are charged for. I had two people booked at the hotel for business meetings and the fact that the price was increased by 100 Euro per night (Wednesday) because of demand is unacceptable. The furniture of the hotel is very old not antique but old !.

Originally designed in 1999, in 2001 the architects were ready and the building work started. With the precise intent of keeping the original design and charm typical of ancient mansions, the hotel now offers: 172 rooms; a meeting centre; a spa with indoor swimming pool; a banquet hall; park; and garage with 70 parking spaces.

It was named after the most powerful Seigniory of the 14th-century, the Visconti, the ruling family of Italy at the time.

Important information to guests

Access to the wellness centre and the pool is available at an additional cost per person, per day. Children up to 12 years old are allowed in the spa from 9:00 to 17:30 during weekdays and from 10:00 to 17:30 during weekends and public holidays. Children up to 12 years old have a 50% discount on the entrance fee. The wellness centre and the swimming pool will be going through renovation works from 18 until 23 April 2017. In the swimming pool, it is compulsory to wear a swimming cap. Children are allowed only at some time of the day. Please note that parking costs vary on Fridays and Saturdays, please contact the property for further information. Please note that the property reserves the right to pre-authorise your credit card before arrival. Please note that laundry service is not available on Sunday and on public holidays.
