  We stayed here for 10 days it became our home away from home. The room was bright, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and also comfortable. Lu made our stay memorable. She treated us like family and was extremely helpful to me when I sprained my ankle; she sent my husband out to the pharmacy for a special cream and came to ... what people say » the room with ice for my ankle and a tray with hot tea and cake. She also gave us great advice on places to eat. Casa di Eddy is located wonderfully - The staff were friendly, hotel was lovely and clean. There was a kitchen which had a fridge you could use and cakes / tea / coffee left out . Free breakfast from the cafe across the road. We had the economy room with the external bathroom. 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum although we did walk to the Vatican which took an hour. The metro station was around the corner and for 1.50 euros takes you to the Vatican in 10mins. If you have never been to Rome there isnt really a central location to vis

My colleagues and I have been using it as the "base camp" for our after work walks, as most of Rome's interesting places are at arms length, more so if you enjoy a walk after a long work day. The room ceiling is really beautiful and the views from the window overlooking a goo part of Trastevere are really nice. It is also well connec - The location of the facility is perfect. Walking distance to most of the sights. A tram station and bus station is right in front of the building. Across the street are all the restaurants, bars and shops of Trastevere. You don't feel like a tourist, but living like the current Romans do. The building is actually an apartment building. The room was rather big for the center of Rome and newly renovated. There is a 'café' right next door that serves Italian breakfast. We enjoyed our stay a lot an
