Also, despite some bad(ish) reviews on various websites all 10 in our party found the staff very pleasant and helpful, the dining room excellent for both breakfast and evening meals and could not fault anything. The free internet access also very useful as were the many other included facilities. - A real find. We traveled by c... what people say » ar, and were able to take the ferry to the Lido and park behind the hotel. The room was spacious for three people with a nice view back towards the city. We departed before breakfast, and hotel provided "breakfast packs" to go, free of charge.

  The best hotel I've been in Italy. No doubt. Loved the hotel, loved the staff, loved our room. It even had a small and unexpected jacuzzi. It was further away then what was promised on bookings.com , not a problem though, since there was a small vaporino shuttle running whenever we need it to - even late at night!!   Liked everything about this hotel. Calm location away from the tourist hassle and just 5­-7 min walk from piazza San Marco. May be a bit far from the train station but for us it was not a problem, walking through Venice is a pleasure of its own. Besides you can always take a vaporetto which stops nearby. The rooms are big, warm, clean, nicely deco... what people say » rated and very cosy. Breakfast was basic but ok (ham, cheese, cornflakes). In overall, good value for money we paid. - Very nice hotel. The incheck was very fast and the night receptionist was very helpfull. the room was very clean and the breakfast was also fine. We liked the hotel very much.

  The staff and ability to give directions to the hotel. One of theprevious comments regarding the place was that it didnt have fire escaperoutes or was difficult to find. We found the hotel was close toeverything. Unfortunately we missed out on the trip to the Murano glassfactory, which the hotel organises for free for their guests. But allround thi... what people say » s was a beautiful hotel, very happy :) - Hotel Corte dei Greci is a charming spot in the quiet heart of Venice, just a few minutes walk from the bubbling over, overwhelming S.Marco square. As it was recently refurbished the room was very neat, almost shining. The furniture is well chosen and above all brand new. It's like getting in a private home. I stronlgy advise it.
