  Hotel Five was a great find. The hotel staff from the receptionist, cleaners to the lady who serves breakfast were exceptionally kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them and every time I passed them I was greeted with a sincere hello and a smile. The hotel itself is on two levels.   We spend 3 nights at this hotel and really liked it (well, we just slept there). Just a 20-minute walk from Stazione Centrale and another 30-40-minute walk from the Duomo. There are lots of shops, supermarkets and local restaurants and pizzerias (actually the one recommended by the hotel manager was great!). The room was cosy and clean, no problem... what people say » s with water in the bathroom, there was a tv, hairdryer and a fridge in the room. The breakfast was disappointing but ok for a quick snack and the cof - This is an owner managed hotel and it is thus very good as they have interest in providing good accommodation. Very friendly and helpful. Room on backside quiet. Would definitely stay again - only sorry we had not tried it on previous trips to Milan.
