  The hotel is positioned in a quiet side street and was a tad more expensive than we usually pay for our city breaks but we thought it was good value in relation to the other hotels in the area. But it was well furnished and we had the canal view, which was lovely. But the bed was extra- large and very comfy. The front of house were very helpful with regards to restaurant recommendations - Very central boutique hotel within 5 mins of St Marks......loved the gondolas passing the door of the hotel & some had singers/guitar players ....the singing was brilliant !!! The staff were all friendly & very helpful. The room we had was a junior suite & for 3 women sharing was a bit on the small side but we managed. I would recommend that the hotel get rid of the excercise bike & replace it with a chest of drawers or another wardrobe !!!! Breakfast was really good & plent

  Our stay at the Hotel Dell'Opera made our time in Venice perfect, we were there during a very hot/humid spell and we were able to stop back into the hotel throughout the day because of the central location and cool off, take a bath in their beautiful bathroom, or a siesta in their crisp sheets, it was total luxury for a fraction of the cost. The st... what people say » aff was wonderful, and the breakfast was five star - The hotel location was pretty much central, the front desk staff was extremely helpful. They answered our quesions and were always ready to print our a map and direct us to where we waned to go. The room was great. The highlight of our stay was the helpfulness of Jason and all the staff.

  Our room (205) was fantastic, it this was on the recently modernisedside of the hotel and was a superior double. The room was very spacious,and the bed was huge, and comfy. The bedroom/living area had two largewindows overlooking a small canal which was lovely. The stunningbathroom had a bath big enough for two!
