Casa Petrarca was a wonderful place to stay in beautiful Venezia! The location is hard to beat in my opinion, less that 5 minutes to Piazza San Marco, 10 minutes to the Rialto bridge. The room was small but very comfortable and clean, though next time we would probably opt for a room with a ensuite bathroom. What's not to like about a luxury yacht moored close to Venice with its own free water taxi to get you back after the water buses stop running. despite misgivings about the yacht being moored on another island it was very easy to get to Venice and back with a ten minute water bus ride.
Would recommend this for a different and special experience. -

The simple fact that it was an yacht. You slept in one of the cabins, could enjoy the sun in the deck, and so on. If you by any chance wanted to have dinner in Venice you didn't have to call a water taxi (the last bus is at 8pm) - they have a free transfer service to the yacht.

Hospitality and warm reception of the owner of B&B Cristina, his patience, goodwill and readiness to help if his guests have any problems or questions about the city (sightseeing, shopping, where to eat and so on). Comfortable, spacious rooms, nicely furnished and decorated, the windows of which overlook one of the canals. The size of the room where I stayed and its decor match the best 5 star hotels. Staying in such a room gives you an idea of what it is like to live in a Venitian house.T

The staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The staff helped us with our luggage, which was certainly not expected, but very much appreciated. The hotel was beautifully presented and maintained, and helped give that feeling of antiquity that you get in Venice.

Lovely small hotel with friendly, helpful staff and in a quiet but central position. The hotel recommended best water taxi company to use, and made sure that although we arrived outside reception hours [1 pm] we could leave our bags safely and go for some lunch until 3pm when reception opens. We look forward to staying here again, and will be recommending Antica Casa Coppo to any friends coming to Venice

As soon as you step inside you feel the friendliness and warmth of a family-based business. We had a room with a canal view, the beds were cozy and the shower great - all of this more than made up for the humble furnishings. Just 5 minutes from the station, and the restaurant next door is good. We won't bother looking anywhere else for our stays in Venice.

It is a very modern, clean and spacious apartment. There is no better location! Only 1min. walk to the Rialto Bridge! The transport to there is fantistic and nearby! The only thing that was not nice, our cruise were in Venice at 7h00 and we have to wait until 14h30 to get into the apartment! For me it was also over-priced! There is no washing masjien!
