I actually had booked this hotel as the rate was one of the lowest in Venice Center, however I was not quite sure as the photos on letsbookhotel.com does not look so good. However, this modest hotel is quite clean and I guess managed by family. The personnel is quite friendly, and the hotel is very central. It is located 3 mins walk to the train station so that you do not have to carry your luggage in narrow Venice Streets. If you are looking for a luxury, then you should choose another hotel. .
all reviews » As soon as you step inside you feel the friendliness and warmth of a family-based business. We had a room with a canal view, the beds were cozy and the shower great - all of this more than made up for the humble furnishings. Just 5 minutes from the station, and the restaurant next door is good. We won't bother looking anywhere else for our stays in Venice. The location was spot on and really easy to find, no more than 5 minutes from the train station - that;s if you don't stop and look in the shops!! Really friendly. If your a light sleeper then it can be noisy (from outside), though I think that would be with most hotels in Venice. Very good location. Though this isn't the hotel's fault. Back room had non-existent Wi-Fi. very noisy as it was in a square where tourists frequented. Breakfast is very basic (bread, butter and jam)... Be careful with the location. It's easy to find but the map its wrong at the website. While there was a basin in the room, bathroom and toilet were shared facilities just down the hall. However this worked OK for me the one night I was there. No Wi-Fi was available at the hotel (however, available at one of the restaurants opposite the main entrance). It would be better if they have wifi and private bathroom and toilet. no bathroom. breakfast. Very noicy!. Not much to say as room n facilities were fair enough with the price offered. Hotel is very noisy, you can hear banging of doors and people's conversation. The whole hotel need an upgrade. It feels like you are going back in time - to the 50s. No comfort at all.
