  We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but... what people say » we didn't get a chance to see it. Very pleased! - the hotel was central to everything! We loved the location and the big breakfast. The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Glad I picked the Albergo Bonvecchaiti.

  What's not to like about a luxury yacht moored close to Venice with its own free water taxi to get you back after the water buses stop running. despite misgivings about the yacht being moored on another island it was very easy to get to Venice and back with a ten minute water bus ride. Would recommend this for a different and special experience. -... what people say » The simple fact that it was an yacht. You slept in one of the cabins, could enjoy the sun in the deck, and so on. If you by any chance wanted to have dinner in Venice you didn't have to call a water taxi (the last bus is at 8pm) - they have a free transfer service to the yacht.

  The staff were most helpfull from the moment we arrived till the day we left. I would point out one member of staff, unfortunatly I dont have his name, he works on reception, very smart and I do know he is 19 year of age, management should keep an eye on him he will go far in the leisure industry - The hotel was fantastic, not only did they upgrade... what people say » our room but they went out and bought us wading boots for our stay due to the King Tides, they supplied a free taxi ride to Murano Island (worth 30 euro!!) and they were continuously helpful no matter what the problem or question!

  Location is great, staff are friendly. We were upgraded to a magnificent large room at no extra charge. The hotel is on a quiet street close to San Marco square. With outside tables by a picturesque canal and with tables in an interior courtyard this hotel is our idea of a perfect place to stay in Venizia. Lots of Hot water for showers, and an exce... what people say » llent included breakfast. - Excellent location and it was good to be a little away from the main thoroughfare traffic, very comfortable and it was fantastic that there was a kettle in the room where I could have a cup of tea. It is the only hotel I have been in in Europe where I could do this.

Breakfast was great..the decor of hotel really created an atmosphere of old Venice..the location was close enough to everything yet not so close you felt crowed by center. The Staff wasoutstanding, and very courteous, the hotels cleanliness and service wassecond to none. Everytime we left the room, we came back and the bed wasmade, and there were chocolates on our pillows, the breakfast waswonderful and the eggs tasted amazing. On a scale of 1-10, I give thishotel a 15!!

  It was a very comfotable hotel and very near to the bus and vaporetto to Venice. The stuff was very polite and the room really splendid with a marvellous view to the lagouna. As for the breakfast it was good but it could be better - The hotel accomodations are very good.
