Location was about 10 mins walk from St. Marks Square. Close yet far enough away from crowds. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.

-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

The owner of this hotel is a very elegant man, who was very helpful and made our stay all the more enjoyable. The room itself was not large but had a wonderful veranda that overlooked a canal. The location is a bit tricky but it seemed that everything was hard to find in Venice even with all the signs. - Helpful, friendly staff. Pleasant ambience.

Location was excellent . Our room had a canal view which was unique. Noisy if windows open but new windows shut out the noise. Very clean and looked like the picture. Room was a great size, with instantly hot shower - have heard that in
Venice you can get both a small room and bad water pressure but no
issues on this side. Staff very helpful, we got to check in early as the
room was ready and they kept our bags safe on the last day until late at
night. Also ate in the restaurant which was good food, staff here more
than helpful as the terrace flooded during high tide and they piggy
back
