  The Hotel was very clean and comfortable and our room was spacious and airy. Plenty of light during the day and after dark, so cheerful and lots of room. The Porter who helped us with luggage etc was delightful and so helpful and welcoming. Staff are charming universally. Coffee was wonderful! I use a buggy so it was brilliant as the Hotel is in the Galleria. - I like very much your hotel because it is elegant, not too large and privately owned, quiet and exactly in the centre of Milano, the town where I was born many many years ago.   I do not agree with any of the negative reviews on this absolutely magnificent hotel. You get what you pay for and maybe even more. The room was spacious, clean and very bright. The furniture is not the most fashionable in the world but it's a hotel you need to rest in, not have any parties nor anything. It had a tv, a shower, a bidet, a phone and... what people say » a Wi-Fi connection. The breakfast was very satisfying, lots of quality products, freshly baked and delicious cakes, fresh fruit and a great variety o - Excellent location, beautiful building with wonderful quadrangles within each of the two parts, comfortable rooms. We disagreed about the bizarre paintings on the marble floors, I thought they spoil the effect, while my friend has found them acceptable.

  we had an excellent time at the Sanpi--staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were superb!. very easy to access central Milan, either by walking or metro.
