Claudio, Roberta and Sylvia were amazing, they recommended exceptional restaurants, organized tours and taxis and guided you to the must see sites. The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.

We really enjoyed our stay, the owner Enrico is such a nice guy, my husband got sick while we are in Florence, he helped us to call the doctor, we also stayed for another 2 hours after the official checkout time just so we are in time to catch the train, and he was all good with that.
