  There are many places to choose from on Capo Vaticano (just south of Tropea). We're glad we stayed at this hotel. We had a fantastic sunset view of the Stromboli volcano from our balcony.   Very kind and helpful staff! We truly felt welcome. Excellent breakfast. Lovely surroundings with banana trees and palms etc. Peaceful. The beds had been changed, we slept well.   We loved the welcome we got on arrival. The staff were always helpful and friendly. All of the hotel guests were invited to an evening at the beach to eat and watch the sunset. The evening was really lovely and the waiters did some Calabrian dancing which was fun to watch. We were then taken back to the hotel after an excellent evening. I would ... what people say » recommend this hotel. - We stayed in one of the apartments which are located a good 10 - 15 min walk from the main hotel. We didn't have a car whilst staying there which I would probably recommend that you did have. The apartments are in a quite location away from all the main amenities with some great views back across the town.
