  There are many places to choose from on Capo Vaticano (just south of Tropea). We're glad we stayed at this hotel. We had a fantastic sunset view of the Stromboli volcano from our balcony. Our apartment, while a little small with sloping ceilings on the edges, was clean and well-equipped. The kitchen was very nice. We didn't have a car whilst staying there which I would probably recommend that you did have.
