The hotel is on the third floor of an older building with no elevator. However, the staff will help you with taking the luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is situated in a little seedy area near the fish market. However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.

Large and luxury apartment of 80 sqm fully equipped with dishwasher, large fridge and freezer. Air conditioning very good, staff responsible for very sweet and friendly. The hotel´s motto very good and surprisingly occasionally. A bit expensive but great value for money. Plenty of parking and a view of part of the volcano top Etna and not far from the city Catania. What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania.
