We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. The Polish lady on reception when I checked in was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious for a single. The fan provided made up for the slightly stuffy atmosphere. Great outside communal terrace.

The rooms are nicely decorated, the hotel has its own personality, every room is decorated differently. We had a room on the top floor and it came with a large terasse and sunbeds. The bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft. Location is great, just one block from Passeig de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya. Close to the lively tourist area, but still in a less crowded, noisy neighbourhood. Food at breakfast was good, large variety, it's only a cold breakfast. The hotel is brand new, we stayed on

Mind that it's an appartment is not a hotel, you can prepare your meal and cooking. It's possible to save money with street food, nice place and new, well decorated, the kitchen devices it's pretty good. Wi Fi works very good. It's close Plaza Catalunya, near the transportations. Amazing
