Granada Hotels

Room Mate Leo is a great, clean, modern-looking hotel in a nice central location. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and had a very large closet to stash all of our luggage. Breakfast was included with our stay and included a large variety of pastries, fruit, bread, meats, cheeses, yogurts, coffee and juices. I would recommend this hotel to anyone but would be sure to tell them one thing: do not expect old Spanish charm. Nothing beyond the front door makes you think y - Paul

We stayed for 2 nights in September - the hotel is comfortable, well priced, and reasonable walking distance to the central core. The most outstanding aspect was the friendly service in the hotel. - Susan

Los Jeronimos was a good surprise! Well located, opposite the Jeronimos cloister, this hotel is great value for money. Modern (newly refurbished?), this hotel offers free wireless Internet access. The hotel is also clean. The staff is friendly and professionnal. The downside was the reduced size of the bedroom and the lack of daylight (windown overlooking a very narrow patio). Greta location. We flew in Granada airport and were quickly shuttled to the city center on a bus, from which it was a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised - cozy, pretty spacious (not bathroom though). Good (included) breakfast selection. The only minus - there was no view from the window - looked out on the interior gloomy 'courtyard'. They had AC. When leaving the hotel - you step out on a really nice little plaza that has food, flowers, sculpture and waterfountain. Over - Keith

The initial task of finding a good hotel for just a few nights stay in Granada was extremely difficult as there are so many to pick from. We were looking to stay within the old part of town in a clean, non smoking, and reasonably priced hotel and just by pure chance we found it and could not have been happier with our decision to stay at the Hesperia Hotel. Large and confortable rooms. Internet in the television. Private parking (18euros per day). A little bit far from downtown by foot, need car to go downtown or Allambra. Bathroom is big and clean. Complete breakfast. Front desk staf helpful. - Paul

This hotel took care of our every need. We had our Alhambra tickets waiting for us, we had the best guide arranged by them that we could have wished for, they arranged for a classic, very personal flamenco night in the Sacramento Caves. The breakfast was the most memorable and full of variety of our two weeks in Spain! We loved our room (yes, it was alittle noisey with the window open), but the furnishings fit into a 15th century palace. The bathroom was the best. The staff were oh so gracious - Shane

The hotel itself is worthy of the 4 stars, but I'd booked a premium room on the top floor and was told by the receptionist that it was one for the best rooms in the hotel. Well, it was certainly very spacious and apart from the cracks in the wall and the ripped curtains (!) there's not much else I could fault. However, I'd expect more for one of the best rooms in a 4 star + hotel. The other problem we had was that since it had been cold the week before the air conditioning wasn't connected. Whe - Tomasz

My husband surprised me with a short break to Granada for our first anniversary and after much research on the web had booked us into the Abadia. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the courtyard and it was lovely. Clean, good sized with small fridge for the much needed chilled water, great hot shower and comfy bed. Black-out blind and shutters on the windows meant it was easy to have a long restful sleep. Helpful staff (they seem to know everything about the city), good location - easy t - Terry

This is a first rate hotel. The design, staff, location, room and service were exceptional - especially for the price we paid. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Granada. - Stephen
